All card/bank collections and bank payouts on Lodgr are processed by Paystack, a CBN-licensed payments company.
- Users pay Lodgr through Paystack.
- Lodgr uses Paystack Transfers to pay landlords and vendors.
- Lodgr applies in-product escrow timing before payout.
Roles
Paystack is the payment processor. Lodgr is the merchant of record for platform checkout.
Paystack does not own or manage hostels, sell marketplace products, decide room allocation, or act as escrow agent under a separate trust deed. Paystack’s role is payment collection, account resolution support, and payouts under Lodgr’s merchant relationship.

Fees: rent checkout may include Lodgr commission (per property). Marketplace platform commission is ₦100 per order, plus any Paystack fees charged at checkout.
